I had a friend who lives across the country from me e-mail saying that since she couldn't be here to support our garage sale, she wanted to donate the $67 difference to make our total for the weekend an even $1k.
I am... humbled.
And get teary-eyed every time I think about what a sweet gesture that was.

Neal and I were blessed with our son, Kasen, after dealing with infertility for 3 years. We most definitely want more children and are choosing private adoption to try to grow our family.
We created this blog not only to find support from others who are adopting and as a place for friends and family to see what's going on, but with the hope that it will ultimately serve as a path for a birth family who is making an adoption plan to be able to get to know us. We hope this blog will give a sense of who we are and what type of life we hope to provide the child(ren) who come to our family through adoption.
